Vase cut from salvaged Maple.  Red Dye on the exterior to enhance the detail of the grain.  Unless the grain is heavily figured, maple can look plain without dye or stain.  Once stained, however, the difference in the grain is striking.  Finished with epoxy and food-safe polyurethane for a lasting finish.
